Have you ever had a an awesome experience after listening to music? Do you ever feel sad, happy, or even encouraged by music whenever it flows? I bet incase music do not affect your emotions and reactions in any way then you are not just a music fan. We have various music  genres, every has his own taste say gospel, hip hop, locals, rock, bongo, afros, reggae,, pop, country music and so many other genres. Each one has their own choice. What’s your choice? I will get to give you some experiences I have had since I began listening keenly to what music says.

As a choice, I chose hip hop as my most time genre. I got to try rapping every time some hip-hop rap would steam in. Did you ever realize that whatever you do makes you adapt to all you have never been into. I know what am about to tell you may look somehow weird.  I was born as a guy who was slow in terms of talking. What I mean here is I would speak every word slowly like someone who still thinks of the next word. Am sure if you would get into conversation back in my young age with me you would have to get patient with me enough and get bored. What you have to know is that as I speak today, how I speak today, the speed is so fast. No teacher taught me how to speak at a faster rate and let me in addition to that tell you that no one ever taught me how to speak faster. You may confuse that with stammering but no, it is not. When I was young at around age ten, I began loving hip-hop raps more than any other type of music and I was convinced that I could have a try rapping the same way the artists could do. The more I did practice rapping, the more I learnt how to speak at a faster rate. To date I speak faster than I used to do. If you hear me talking whether it sounds slower or faster to you, you must know that am far much away faster than the way I used to do it.

What moved me towards hip-hop love is, I wanted to know how possible singing faster was. I would at first think that those were effects till I had a young friend who knew a lot on how to rap. He told me it is practicing on rapping that music will make someone know.

Today though, I feel relaxed when listening to my favorite music. Whenever am hurt or feel bored I just put on my music and with time I feel comforted and act like everything is okay. I get to be reminded that I need someone too to show me love whenever love hip-hop streams in. For instance I do feel like it is this music that keeps me moving at most of the time and acts as an alarm that am supposed to move to a particular direction. All I learn in school I do put it in music form and I get to remind myself faster than when I will do it normally. I get to love music because of talent and message they pass but I may not love the culture like smoking, drinking, sexual exposure in it. Do not fall for the artist but what drives you towards what he passes or the kind of creativity they have.
